When my hair got to where it was only looking clean for about 12 hours, I used the powder plan. My stylist recommended it. It makes it so my scalp stops going nutso on oil production. It looks normal for two days. But while I'm doing it, I feel like I'm wandering around with baby powder on my head. About once every 6 weeks do I put a small spoonful of baking soda in my hand and mix it with a bit of shampoo to help strip the styling products off.
