Well I'm finally getting a chance to sit down and let you guys know we didn't crash and die, we didn't get lost and drive 1000 miles in the wrong direction, we didn't lose all our boxes in transit--we made it! We're up here in Washington and trying to settle in, I gotta be honest its a lot harder than I thought it was going to be! I don't want to get into that right now, just hoping things will get easier soon!
Did you have an awesome Halloween? Our's was a little crazy (obviously), but I think the kids had a good time and of course they made out with a ton of candy, that I've already eaten the best of. No pictures though, I didn't have my camera out. And I didn't dress up. What a bummer of a Halloween.
p.s. I miss Chick-Fil-A.

ReplyDeleteremember in "fools rush in" where Selma's character orders those hot dogs from New York for Matthew's character and has them shipped in that foam cooler so they are still fresh and hot. I will do that for you with chick fil a sandwiches! I'm glad you are there safe and sound!

ReplyDeleteTake your time settling in. Never been to WA but I hear it's gorgeous. Be easy on yourself and remember unpacking is a process. It's taken us 5 years to unpack and guess what? We're still unpacking life. (sigh)

I hope it gets easier soon too! I've only had to do that kind of move twice. I don't ever want to have to do it again- moving far is exhausting. Glad you still managed to get SOME Halloween time in.
