TP-ing

Every once in awhile I go sit down, I look around, and I wonder:

"Where'd all the toilet paper go?!"

I swear my kids must just stick the end in the water and flush it all down because we go through TP like you wouldn't believe!

It wouldn't be as bad if we stored the toilet paper in a place you could reach while sitting on the toilet but we don't. And lets face it, I'm rushing in there at the last second and don't spot the toilet paper until its too late, if ya know what I'm sayin.

I guess the smart thing to do would be to move the toilet paper. Or make my kids go outside. Or make a one square rule for them. Whatever.

What do your kids do that drive you crazy?

  1. We have removed the TP from the kid's bathroom (or at least put it out of their reach) because I could not stand one more clogged bowl.

  2. My kids leave 2 squares on the roll so they don't have to change it - so very annoying!

My brother once instituted a 4 square rule at his house so his kids wouldn't use so much toilet paper - I wonder how he enforced it...

  3. those are just the JOYS you got through with young kids melinda. then they grow up and you miss all those little things --and the ISSUES become big things. I'd like to go back to the little things. seriously --just laugh and enjoy

  4. Dirty socks under the couch. Yep. Dirty socks. But the tp thing drives me nuts too, and when someone DOES decide to replace it they just put the new roll on the counter.

  6. Last week I caught my kids having a toilet paper fight. 6 brand new rolls all over my sons bedroom. Ugh.

  7. Uhm, duh, I just reread my comment. Of course they were brand new rolls right. Cause once they're not new....oh gosh I'm dumb. :) Haha

  8. I agree about the TP It needs to be stored in the commode room. But it's in the garage instead. Very inconvenient. My kids all mysteriously disappear as soon as dinner is eaten. I'm left to either clean up myself or scour the house for them. Annoying.

I'm mysteriously judging whether or not you're going to comment or not...you know you want to.
